Systemizing Quotient Autism Online Test Questionnaire & PDF
Sytemizing Quotient (SQ) Autism Online Test. The Systemizing Quotient (SQ) is a test that is used to measure an individual’s ability to systemize. Systemizing is the process of understanding and analysing systems. Individuals who are strong at systemizing are typically good at understanding how things work and creating order out of chaos. Designed by Sally Wheelwright & Simon Baron-Cohen, the SQ test is often used to diagnose autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This is because individuals with ASD typically have a higher SQ than those without ASD. The test is also used to research how ASD develops and to compare different ASD treatments.
The test is made up of 75 questions, each of which measures a different aspect of systemizing. The questions are presented in a multiple-choice format, and the test-taker has 15 minutes to complete the test.
Scoring
Because the SQ-R has 75 items and each item can be scored with a maximum of 2 points, the maximum score on the test is 150 and the least is 0. A score of 75 or higher indicates autism.
● On an average, an autistic male scores 80.6 and females score 77.4.
