Adult Repetitive Behavior Questionnaire
What is Adult Repetitive Behavior Questionnaire Test? The Adult Repetitive Behavior Questionnaire (RBQ) is a self-report questionnaire that aims to measure repetitive behaviors in adults. Repetitive behaviors are a characteristic feature of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and are characterized by the repetition of specific actions or routines, as well as a narrow range of interests. Repetitive behaviors may also be present in other neurodevelopmental disorders, such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and can be a source of distress for individuals and their families.
The Adult RBQ consists of a series of questions that assess the frequency and intensity of repetitive behaviors in adults. It may be used to evaluate the severity of repetitive behaviors in individuals with ASD or other neurodevelopmental disorders, or to assess the impact of repetitive behaviors on an individual’s functioning and well-being. The Adult RBQ is not a diagnostic tool and should not be used to diagnose ASD or other disorders. Rather, it is intended to provide a measure of an individual’s repetitive behaviors and inform treatment planning or interventions.
